The Olivia Burton brand was founded by Jemma and Lesa, best friends who met on their first day at the London College of Fashion. Their friendship grew through the years, fuelled by a shared love of vintage fashion and a drive to do something different.
By 2011 both had established successful careers as fashion-buyers, but yearning for more and bursting with creativity, Jemma and Lesa quit their jobs and sat down to design their own beautiful and unique watches from the kitchen table.
Their shared desire to create their own collections, combined with the drive to start their own company, nurtured the birth of the Olivia Burton brand as we know it today.
Olivia Burton was Lesa’s great aunt, a woman whose passion, drive and energy were an inspiration for the pair, and in 2012, after a great deal of hard work, the first Olivia Burton collection was launched.
Now well established, and working from a pretty East London studio, Jemma and Lesa continue to develop the brand, through collaboration with their small team, who design and create their fabulous timepieces.
With a flair for stylish, elegant and feminine designs, inspired by vintage finds as well as modern trends, the Olivia Burton collections continue to delight and enchant, embodying the delicate delights of nature, through intricately hand-drawn bees, flowers, butterflies and a host of other flora and fauna. These breath-taking designs, combined with the innovative use of quality materials, are expressed through exquisite craftmanship giving us the meticulously beautiful timepieces Olivia Burton are known for.
