The British Weird Ape brand was born from frustration and a desire to see something new and exciting introduced to the traditional watch market. Dissatisfied with the choices available, when searching for a new watch, the company’s founder, Stefan Kozikowski, took it upon himself to start reinventing the mechanical watch and in doing so reinvigorated 21st century watch-design.
After 12 months of collaborating with watch experts and enthusiasts from around the world, developing and testing multiple prototypes, the first Weird Ape watch was being skilfully shaped by master craftsmen.
Kozikowski’s vision was to create a watch that got noticed, a watch made from stylish and high-quality materials, but one that was built to last, and wouldn’t break the bank to purchase.

With innovative designs, incorporating quality materials such as scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, second only to diamond in strength, soft suede leather straps and 316L surgical steel casing and bracelets, their watches were designed to stand out and turn heads.
Available with 20mm-wide, quick-release, interchangeable straps that fit the Kolt, Mayfair and Duke models, Weird Ape have created an outstanding range of watches that break away from the mainstream.

Weird Ape’s incredible success is due in part to the skilful marketing of its products. The company source components from the same Chinese manufacturers that supply a large percentage of the luxury watch market. “It’s a little-known fact outside the industry, but to be called Swiss-made, a watch only has to have 60% of the value of it’s movement made in Switzerland”, says Kozikowski.

Weird Ape Kolt
Expertly designed in Britain, using state of the art materials, Weird Ape prompted a ‘rebirth’ of the traditional skeleton watch with the Kolt model. Featuring automatic movement and a black skeleton dial, set into either a rose gold plated or black stainless-steel case, the Kolt is both eye-catching and functional. It comes with interchangeable straps in tan and grey suede, or stainless-steel bracelets designed for both comfort and durability and is water resistant to 5 BAR.
Weird Ape Mayfair
Featuring a 60-second sub-dial, set on either a white or black face, in a choice of black or silver stainless-steel cases, with scratch-resistant glass, the Mayfair incorporates a battery-powered Miyota quartz movement and weighs 46 grams. It is water resistant to 5 BAR and available with a stainless-steel bracelet or interchangeable leather straps in sandstone, white or black.
Weird Ape Duke
Weighing 77 grams and incorporating a battery powered Miyota quartz movement, the minimalist and streamlined Duke watch is made from low carbon grade stainless steel, with a stylish black face and black mesh bracelet. It is water resistant to 3 BAR and has sapphire crystal scratch resistant glass.
