The charming London-based ‘Daisy’ brand was launched in 2009 by a Father and Son duo and the company’s lead designer, Ruth Bewsey.
Passionate about jewellery from childhood, Bewsey drew inspiration from the classic English daisy flower for the original 100 piece ‘Daisy’ collection, which was launched in 2009.
Just 12 years later, Daisy is now an established and much-loved contemporary jewellery brand, with an almost cult-like following. They are known for creating beautiful, meaningful, and above all, wearable, jewellery, designed by women, for women.
‘Daisy women’ are travellers, adventurers, bohemian spirits and lovers of life, those who see and feel the beauty of life and the human experience. Their jewellery is an extension of who they are and an expression of how they feel.
Design
Now the Creative Director, Bewsey continues to drive the brand identity, collaborating with artists and designers exploring current trends and fashions from across the globe, and taking inspiration from bygone days as well as modern themes.
The team use recycled 925 sterling silver in all of their designs. Stunning on its own, they also love the warm tone created by combining 18ct gold plate with the silver. Over the years Daisy have begun to incorporate semi-precious stones and crystals into their designs, inspiring an exciting range of new pieces.
The original Daisy designs remain very popular, and with a number of new, and equally appealing, collections now added to their brand, the Daisy name continues to evolve and grow.
Collections featuring mini bees, hearts, shells, leaves and flowers, healing stones, shapes and symbols expertly crafted into rings, necklaces, wristwear and earrings, exude a warm and eclectic charm that is sure to please anyone looking to purchase a delightful and evocative piece of jewellery.
Designed for pairing, stacking and layering, Daisy have created snake chains, chunky chains, dainty chains, twisted chains, bubble necklaces, friendship bracelets, charm bracelets, charms and pendants, cocktail rings, signet rings, stud earrings, crawler studs and drop earrings.
With names like ‘Aura’, ‘Om’ and ‘Karma’, healing stones and spiritual symbols adorn wristwear, rings, earrings and necklaces radiating calming and positive vibes and acknowledging that we are all part of something much bigger than us.
