To receive an accurate quote for how much your gold is worth, please pop into your local Allum & Sidaway store where one of our team will be able to help you. We can give you a competitive price there
and then. Due to the fluctuating prices of gold this value is only valid for that time only and if you were to return at a later date a new price would need
to be obtained. -
Prices of gold fluctuate constantly so you’ll be unable to guarantee when the ‘best time’ to sell gold is. That said, currently gold is of high value making now a good time to act.

Please do not worry if you are not sure what carat your gold is. Our team can check this for you. They will assess your gold and if necessary can test it. If further verification is needed, this can be organised for you.

No, you will only be paid for the value of the gold of your item. If the stones are
salvageable they will be given back to you if requested. -

Our friendly and knowledgeable team will sit down with you and go through the gold items you are wishing to scrap. They will look for hallmarks and assess what you have. If any items need testing they will be able to do this for you. If
this cannot be done in store, they will inform you of the next steps needed.
Once our team has looked at what you have, they will be able to weigh the gold
and give you a competitive price. If you choose to go ahead, a BACs payment
will be arranged for you. Don’t forget, you can get an extra 20% on the value of your old gold if you choose to put this money towards a new item from our collections.
