VALUATIONS

Valuations for both Probate and Insurance replacement are carried out on site by a National Association of Goldsmiths registered Valuer. You will receive a photograph of each piece along with its comprehensive description. All jewellery is fully insured whilst under our care.

Insurance (Retail, Open Market and Agreed)
Report fee:£25
Standard watch/gem set item:£55
Diamonds over 1ct: (& then £65 per carat thereafter)£65
Plain gold/precious metal item:£40
E.g. 3ct diamond ring – report fee £25 + ring £195 (£65 for ring over 1ct plus £130 for the extra 2cts) = £220
Probate (for HMRC) & family division

N.B. Elaborate/ complex pieces (non-standard) may incur an additional charge in any valuation category. The valuer will contact the customer with a price before commencing any such valuations.
